Yeah, he's the classic example of inaction in government.

Which definitely makes him a card-carrying conservative. Especially in the traditional sense of the word.

Yea I just played through that part of the game just yesterday. I also realized that how he was denying all the evidence that was thrown at him, but there were no counter-arguments... like at all. :roll:

Yes, meanwhile, hilariously enough, the bureaucracy backfires on him, and the banishment he wants to set in force regarding Piers and the rest of the lighthouse-lighters takes too long to be established, which is apparently why the game allows you back into Lemuria whenever you want to go there.

Really? I always thought he meant that if he was to actually help light the remaining lighthouses is when he'd be banished, so it'd be only after Mars was lit that he'd be banished. D:

Well, that's just a different way of saying what I'm saying. They would banish the heroes immediately if they could, rather than after the lighting. But they can't, because their processes are far too slow.
