I probably won't be able to get around to finishing this guide for a little while seeing as I'm no where near getting Teleport in the game right now. But here's what I've done.

Islet Cavern Sidequest Part 1

Islet Cavern is one of the many optional dungeons in the game. In order to access the Islet Cavern, you'll have to complete a trading side-quest all taking place on islands scattered throughout the Eastern Sea.

Being a completely optional part of the game, this cave contains a two Djinn(one Mercury and one Venus), a difficult boss who's immune to Psynergy, and a Summoning Tablet.

Part 1 contains everything you can do in the cave without the Psynergy Teleport which is gained later on in the game. Part 2 will contain everything else.

To start this mini-quest, go to E Tundaria Islet, which is east of the path entrance to Tundaria Tower in the Eastern Sea.

Once you’re there, you’ll see a penguin and several small, moving ice platforms. If you Mind Read the penguin, he’ll state his lover is stranded on the other side of the shore.

So, jump on the first platform by going slightly west of the Great Healer and jumping south. Then make your way across until you reach a the shore. Climb up the ladder, and run north until you see a log and roll it off the ledge into the water.

Next, slide down the crevice to the east and run across the log to reach the female penguin. Push her across the log until she’s beside her lover. You’ll automatically start to Mind Read the male penguin, and he’ll thank you and give you a Pretty Stone.

Your next stop is SE Angara Islet, which is the island north west of Lemuria and south east of Champa.

Use Frost on the puddle of water near the entrance. If you go on the boat on the east side of the island, you’ll find a Lucky medal in the box on the ship.

Now climb up the stairs and ignore the first box, and climb up the second flight of stairs. Push this box off the ledge. Go down both flights of stairs, and push the box to the location two squares east of the ice pillar. You can check the third screen shot bellow to see the exact location.

Next, climb up the first flight of stairs and push this box off the ledge. If you did this right, the two boxes will now be on top of each other.

Now go on these boxes from the ledge you’re currently on, and jump onto the ice pillar. Climb up the two vines, and you’ll see a nest. If you walk towards it, a bird will fly into it. Mind read it and give it the Pretty Stone. In return, the bird will give you a Red Cloth.

The third location is N Osenia Islet. Go to the left side of the island and you’ll see a fenced in area with jars and sand on the ground. Use Sand, and go into the pen. There’ll be a Cow inside. Mind Read it and you’ll trade the Red Cloth for Milk.

Your second last stop is West Indra Islet. It’s in the channel near the entrance to the Western Sea. It’s also on the island west of Daila, and south east of Kibombo.

If you go to the north west part of the wooden platforms and check the closest barrel directly west of the house, you’ll get a Lucky medal. Now head towards the house, jump across the log sticking out of the water, and go down the stairs into the shallow water. Make your way to the puppy and Mind read it. You’ll trade your Red Cloth for a Li’l Turtle.

The Sea of Time Islet is located north west of the Apojii Islands and east of the southern entrance to the Sea of Time.

Go down, then up the stairs. Go near the house, and to the left of the house will be a barrel hidden by the tree leaves. Check it to find a Lucky medal.

Go down the steps east of the house, down the next two sets of steps, to find a turtle. Mind Read him and you’ll give him the L’il Turtle.

He’ll offer you a ride if you jump on his back. If you’re ready, say yes and hop on his back. He’ll lead you to an island with a cave entrance right behind you.

Enter the cave to be in Islet Cave. Run north and go down the steps. Continue north and you’ll reach an area with a log, a circular symbol on the ground, and a rock to your right.

If you go on the log to the left and open the treasure chest, you’ll receive Turtle Boots. These boots can raise your defense, but greatly drop your agility.

Next, go back and this time cross the rock over the water. Go through the door and across the log. Go south over the rock, and onto the southern log. Roll it north.

Here you’ll find a Venus Djinni! Save before fighting it in case it flees, then battle it. You’ll get the Djinni named Meld!

Now, if you haven’t received the Psynergy Teleport yet, which is unlocked far into the game, use Restart to teleport out of the dungeon as there‘s not much else you can do. If you have unlocked Teleport, click here to view the second part of this guide to see what to do next!

Well, that’s all I can currently do for this guide… More to come later. :P

It's fair enough that you can't do more of this quest for now. Now, you COULD defer the guide for now, there's nothing wrong with that. But I do have another idea for your consideration.

It's possible that you might want to split the start of this quest and the end of it into two parts, to be done throughout the game, part one at the first opportunity that you can do it, and part two when you can finish it. This could help newbies go on a longer path that pushes them to level more, making other battles they could be doing by just following the plot a bit easier when they come to them.

Let me know what you think of this.

Sounds good to me. Ty for the suggestion.

Changed a few things around in the guide to allow a part 2 for this guide later.

EDIT: I suppose this makes this guide complete then. :P
